The Twelve Apostles

The Twelve Apostles is a collection of rock formations (limestone stacks) off the coast of Victoria, Australia, that provides spectacular views and has long been a popular tourist attraction. It is accessible from the Great Ocean Road which itself is a very popular tourist attraction providing one of the world's most scenic coastal drives.
The first 4 photos below were taken at sunset on 31st December 2000 (Sunset of the Millennium). The last 2 were taken on the morning of 1st January 2001. All photos were taken with a Canon EOS 620 SLR camera with either a 35-70 mm or 70-210 mm zoom lens.
